What to bring

All of your towels and linens, cookware and utensils are provided.  Just bring your own food and beverage (coffee).  Our cabins all have county water.  Some guest like to bring their own drinking water.

Occupancy

All of our cabins have a maximum number of guest allowed.  We do not allow additional visitors.  You will be charged for any additional guest and may be subjected to leave if not in compliance with reservations.

Payment

Advance payment is required with reservations.  Visa and MasterCard are accepted.  Taxes are additional and subject to change NC sales tax 7.50% and 3% county occupancy tax is added.  There is a two night minimum on all cabins.

Check-In

Check-In is between 3:00pm and 6:00pm at the main office located at 510 NC Hwy 94, Swan Quarter, NC 27885.  Your cabin is located at another location and you will be given your key and directions to your cabin.  If you are not able to arrive before 6:00pm call and we will give you the information for your cabin and location of the key.

Check-Out

Check-Out is 11:00am firm.  You do not need to come to the office to check out.  Simply clean up, leave the key, and lock the cabin behind you.  We are unable to accommodate late check outs.  Check-in and Check-out times are strictly enforced so that we can make sure the cabin is ready for our next guest.

Cancellations

Reservations that are made February 1 through October 31 there must be a 5 day notice given.  November 1 through January 31 there are no cancellations allowed.

Amenities

Occasionally appliances, heat, etc....can malfunction.  We will service and restore these amenities are quickly as we can, but will not make any rental concession for time without these items.  Likewise, loss of electricity, water, or other "Acts of God" that are outside of our control will not result in a refund of any monies paid.

Telephones

Although there are not phones in our cabins, there is a telephone on the premises should you need it.  This is available 24 hours a day for local, collect, phone card, or credit card calls.  We do have wireless internet service available in all cabins.

TV Reception

Direct TV Service is available in all cabins with free HBO and Showtime.

Bugs

We have our cabins professionally treated on a regular basis, but we have intruded in on the bugs' natural habitat.  You are in the middle of the woods and you will see bugs and spiders during your stay.  You may want to bring bug spray with you.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed inside the cabins, but you are welcome to smoke outside or on the decks/porches. 
Ashtrays are provided for your use.  Smoking in the cabin will result in a $100.00 fee added to card.

Pets

Pets are welcome!  Well mannered, house broken pets are allowed in cabins with prior approval.  Because the additional time is involved in cleaning a cabin that a pet has stayed in, there is a charge of $30.00 per pet stay.  Pets must be kept on a lease when outside with you, and may not be left alone in your cabin.  A maximum of 2 pets per cabin are permitted.  Unauthorized pets will result in a $100.00 fee added to your card.

Damages

We reserve the right to charge your credit card for any damages or excessive cleaning from your stay.  If you notice any problems upon checking in, please let us know right away to avoid any damages being charged to your account.
